MJL Collective

1. The short version

The public MJL Collective website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools, and it does not save anything in your browser’s local storage. We do not sell or share browsing data. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar tools include local storage and session storage. Sites use them to remember who you are, keep you signed in, or track visits.

3. The public website

Pages like Home, Work, Services, About, Contact, and these legal pages set no cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own domain, so no font or image service sees your visit. When you send the contact form, we use what you type only to reply to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs do not use cookies.

4. The client portal

The client portal at https://www.mjlcollective.com/clients uses a strictly necessary sign-in cookie so you stay signed in while you use it. It is set only when you sign in, is used only for your session and security, and is not used for advertising or tracking. The portal cannot work without it, so it does not need your consent under most privacy laws.

5. Links to other sites

Our portfolio links to client sites and other sites. Those sites may use their own cookies, under their own policies.

6. How to control cookies

You can see, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies for our domain, the public website still works, but you will not be able to stay signed in to the client portal.

7. Changes and contact

If we add any new cookies or tools, such as analytics, we will update this page first and change the “Last updated” date.
